ROMs from Niko’s TTX2Multi not working #3

I've download both the Tate and Yoko images and am using the ROMs I acquired from Niko on his last release of his X2 2.0 Multi.

All the games work on the Tate image; except for Space Invaders, which when launched sends me back to NxL menu. There are some other issues with some of the other games (Homura- no menu), (Raiden IV -demo video skips), (Ikaruga- game skips every once in a while), but overall are playable, not ideal but playable.

Non of the games work on the Yoko image. I am adding the games as I did in the Tate ver but I either get sent back to NxL menu or get an .exe error.

I have taken the games and copied them to the appropriate folders and don't copy any files that are already in the TTX3Multi game folders.

Is any one else having the same issues??? Wondering if my image is corrupt or if it's another issue.

Also when the NxL menu loads it hangs for 15-30secs when moving to another game title. Whether I press up, down, left or right.

Honest was disappointed this isn't set to play the NxL2 games but would at least be happy to play some NxL games on it at least.

Thanks any feedback is appreciated!

I’ve tested a few roms and got mixed results, arcana hearts 2 worked but arcana hearts 3 didn’t, think I got battle Fantasia to work as well, I found if I copied the full folder over from my tx2 drive it wouldn’t work but copied the files from the folder into the tx3 folder then it did on a couple, probably it’s where the launch.exe is pointing to.

as I recall the cleaner the ROM source the better. Some of them have been patched to high hell.

re: Skipping video, etc which model are you on? 40x? what is your X?

NXL2 is not enabled on JVS images. There is a fastIO image, but it is not currently public. You can hack it out fairly trivially with what was shared.

Regarding Space Invaders on the tate... you need to copy over dic32.dll into the game folder.

The file structure is indeed different.

What X3 model are you using? I know there is a 640 and a 660 graphics card.

Have a Model 404, Core i5, 2gbx4 Ram, N660GTX.

Yeah definitely understand the file structure is different than how Niko has it setup for his X2 Multi. That part I know I have right, because it works on the TATE version ;)

Thanks for the replies

Where would I find that file? Thanks

C:\Windows\System32 on niko's multi perhaps.

Found it thank you, but still won't launch.

I'd PM Niko on Arcade Projects if it were me.

Redownloaded the image and reflashed it onto my SSD and it resolved most issues. Menu doesn't hang and most games load and work as they should.
