Issue with Space Invaders on the Fast I/O flavor of the hustle multi. #15
Comments
copy over the dic32.dll file again and space invaders will work. dic32.dll is in \windows\system32 on niko multi. |
I've seen bad dic32, or dic32 in wrong place cause this issue with invader |
Unfortunately that didn't work either. I've attached the dic32.dll from Niko's multi. |
What resolution is your monitor at? |
@kioku25 did you solve your space invaders issue? |
No, I could never figure out why it refused to run. |
Well, I'm gonna need some help from the hustle multi devs on this. I've got the multi up and running. Everything works as intended, except for one dang NxL1 game. The game in question being Space Invaders, which seems to be working fine for at least two other guys, both here and on Discord. I've tried their dump of the game to no avail and I've also tried reimaging my SSD. Nothing works. The game boots to a screen with a blue background (could be the windows embedded desktop) and I can hear the characteristic windows error sound going off. Though there is nothing at all on the screen, connecting a keyboard and tapping enter twice (presumably closing the invisible error messages) takes me back to the frontend. Does anybody have an idea how to fix that annoying problem?
If it's any help, my TTX3 is hooked up via VGA, through one of those DVI-I -> VGA adapters, and all the dips on the TTX3 are off.
I also tried hooking it up through HDMI, which didn't make a difference.
And just to rule out any hardware issues, I tried the multi on both of my Vewlixes, both fitted with a 404 TTX3, Fast I/O board and RFID Reader. Space Invaders won't run on either one.
