I don't see ads on my ipad.

Please try to disable-enable content blockers in Safari settings and restart Safari, and check for filters update.
Do not close AdGuard window ~90 seconds, because iOS will breaks configuration process.

It was not a “sponsored” post. Rather one of those annoying “suggested” pages. These were all blocked properly, until iOS 17 was released. Since then, Facebook has been winning the battle hands down. Unless of course you have special user rules enabled, I haven’t a clue how you’re not seeing sponsored posts, suggested pages, reels, etc. Again, these were all blocked successfully prior to iOS 17.

Because of bugs in iOS, filters have to be trimmed when they reach a certain real limit, which is times lower than Apple's claimed 150k rules. Maybe that's the reason.
There's always been a problem with ios. Unlike Android, here the browser itself does the filtering. We just pass the rules to this "black box".
