24.12.2024 🎄

  • Christmas Theme (late but winter just started ☃️)

Game:

  • All battle area fields are now visible. Cards dropped to the tamer zone will automatically be added to the bottom.
  • Stack-dragging is now to be toggled (breaks sometimes for a card which must be reset by single drag. still investigating this)
  • Draggable top trash card
  • 4 fields for dropping to security (top/bottom, face up/down)
  • Egg deck behaves like main deck
  • New responsive layout. If things are not resizing corectly try fiddling with your window until it does. wip
  • Long Press and dragging on mobile should now behave exactly like on desktop. (keep in mind, only areas without drag&drop-interactions allow scrolling)
  • Report Button: Reason and the chat history will be sent to the discord mods
  • Updated tokens. They are now in a dialog similar to the restart options. Hovering the buttons shows them in details.
  • Distinct SICK modifier to mark cards that are stunned/can't be interacted with
  • visual improvements
  • Button to tilt the view. (experimental)

Lobby:

  • New responsive layout.
  • Quickplay
  • Room creation (+ password)
  • Profile's Deck preview in lobby (currently only the sleeve and icon card can be directly edited)
  • ⚠ Bots temporarily not available due to the new lobby structure. We'll add them soon.

Thx to the people still playing on this platform and submitting feedback! There might be little new stuff fore the time span since the last update but the technical debt in the frontend code has been greatly reduced :)

9.6.2024

Added:

  • Bot: Since the last update bot players using a Beelzemon deck were implemented by @allesandrostagni. Check the controls!
  • Sound bar:
    • Mute/Unmute all SFX on click.
    • "Radio" with 2 (automatically shuffled) Playlists and most functions you would expect from a player.
      • 12 Tracks by @SadGatomon and 20 original tracks created with AI.
  • Color Modifier: Add up to 3 colored dots above cards to indicate how the card is treated.
  • Security Stack Tooltip: See the card stack with face up cards, to enable BT18.
    • Arrow buttons (send face up) added accordingly
  • some new avatars and sleeves

Fixed:

  • Console errors (keys, uncontrolled -> controlled, etc...)
  • Mobile view on Sleeve/Deck Image Modals.
  • Fetching of cards in Deckbuilder
  • Mother D-Reaper now treated as digimon (dp & modifiers)
  • Possibly fixed random application crashing, but could not reproduce for testing

Dev:

  • Some code refactorings, updated dependencies.
  • Updated Readme

  • Game start should be more reliable now.
  • Fixed scrollbars
  • Textinputs in Deckbuilder's search form will only search after a moment without input to fix the performance issue.
  • Fixed minor issue where specific cards would break the details view. (thx maquinas07 for pointing it out and provide fix)
  • If you enter Lobby without an active deck and set it there, the page will now reload to prevent confusion about empty player list.
  • second Leviamon replaced with Plesiomon card back

    • Active Deck is now chosen in Lobby.
  • 11 new Sleeves by Drak

Thx to Rustywolf for joining in investigating problems and fixing minor issues. Most important:

  • Added Mute button on invitation dialog to prevent spamming
  • fixed sound effect triggering for each card in a stack when a stack is moved

10.2.2024

  • Added Button to hide hand

  • Added the ability to reconnect, if your opponent is still ingame. If so, Button will be displayed in the Lobby.

    • If a previously disconnected opponent returns, game state will be synchronized (log excluded)
  • Added population as lobby header (users ingame + in lobby)

  • Removed "opponent left" dialog

  • fixed vulnerability in registrations safety question

  • (experimental) code cleanup (needs to be tested in deployment if this fixes crashes / lowers server load)

  • in previous hot fix fallback case for missing alt art cards was added.


28.1.2024

  • Fixed update logic: All moves are now a "single command" instead of sending the whole board. This should increase performance and greatly reduce desyncs, compared to last patch. (most critical technical debt 🎉)
  • Added loading times for initial distribution, mulligan and shuffling security stack until all data chunks have loaded for you / your opponent.
  • Added alternative Attack Pointer for general declarations (+ it will now correctly interrupt).
    • 🛈 If it's your main phase, a suspended Digimon will set attack phase to [When Attacking] with old style.
  • Added general (logged) effect activation on right-click menu to own cards. (unlike attack pointer, chained activation not optimized yet)
  • Added general (logged) targeting effect on right-click menu to opponent cards.
    • 🛈 Opponent's hand cards will log the end of their id. (to prevent cheating some effects, sending cards from hand to either trash or deck will also have their id logged)
  • Fixed logic for offline-icon on name.
  • Cards with missing images available in deckbuilder, using the default cardback image. (Filtered them before to exclude broken alternative art cards)
  • Fixed display of settings in profile.

23.1.2024

  • Added Phases (can be skipped by clicking it):
    • Unsuspend Phase shows an "Unsuspend all"-Button. Ends automatically when no card is suspended.
    • Draw Phase ends automatically after Drawing.
    • Breeding Phase ends automatically after hatching or moving cards out of breeding area
    • Main Phase: Pass Turn on click (only with negative Memory)
  • Added "Phases" after indicating attack:
    • Attack can only be initiated in own turn with suspended Digimon (unsuspended digimon will notify player, exception: BT12-083; Effect Pointer will come next Patch)
    • "When Attacking" => "Counter > Block" (must be resolved by attacked player) => "Resolve Attack"
  • Added icon next to name, if connection is lost.
  • Added color scheme settings for ingame background to Profile Page
  • When requesting a rematch, you now propose who goes first.
  • Some Sleeves got updated by Drak + 2; Added 6 Avatars.
  • Taking cards from SS will not be shown in log
  • Card information is now distributed in chunks all the time. Hopefully it fixes the bug that disconnects some users when entering game, without changing anything for others.
  • Fixed Card limit calculation in deck edit & display for 5+ of the same card
  • Fixed Cards not updating since last patch without manually deleting local storage
  • Fixed search form not clearing and renamed number and name placeholders, so it won't be recognized as credit card inputs
  • Replaced unsuspend sound (also, unsuspend and suspend sounds were switched for a while)
  • Fixed Dividers in Types

1.1.2024

  • Fixed bugs in card details and avatar reset.
  • Tamers can be suspended anywhere in stack.
  • Text import now ignoring title line when importing from dev
  • Changed scaling / scroll behavior of Game page. (For easier implementation expand/collapse chat was removed. Mobile should now work for most)
  • Added Security Stack buttons back in for touch devices.
  • Added Clear button to deckbuilder's search form.
  • Added restriction marker for searched cards. (eng format. Nothing final and may be incorrect)
  • Minor changes to cards in Deckbuilder (+ highlighted cardnumber on big image).
  • Back button on Deck Edit page now takes you back to profile.
  • You can now reload on Deck Edit page without "breaking" the cards.
  • experimental prevention of empty decks and cards not loading. (Can hardly test fixes for bugs I cannot recreate 😟)

24.12.2023 🎄

  • Replaced the Tamer/Delay zones by 5 small regular fields.
  • Moved the Security Stack Buttons to right-click menu, to make space for the avatar and potentially new features.
  • Implemented new card data provided by Digimoncard.app
    • origin is the wiki, so if you notice wrong informations, just correct it there and wait for next auto update
  • New Card Details aiming for more accessibility
    • "Trivial" data is now found in the Details-Tab, to make space for the effects.
    • Written out colors
    • Tooltip will inform you about the Type, Attribute, ACE-Overflow and <Keywords> of a card
    • Rulings of a card linked in the Details and Keyword Rulings in tooltip.
  • Adjusted Deckbuilder
    • Filter by multiple colors, illustrator, effect text and ACE. (traits should now work as intended, too)
    • Export decks to PD (TTS but with unique card numbers for alt arts) and Text (for import: no deck title and select Text) format.
    • To fix the view on phones and screens < 1080p the Deckbuilder is now responsive and fills out the whole screen.
  • Added 9 more card sleeves by Drak.
  • Minor visual adjustments and technical fixes. (Might broke ingame mobile view more)

  • Choose one of 32 card sleeves made by Drak

  • Added Password Recovery with a safety question. _Make sure using a secure question! You can change it on profile page.
  • Fixed buttons in deck list and the deckbuilders layout in mobile view

  • Right click on the details card image to open it in a new tab
  • Suspending is now done with a real double click instead of clicking the locked card again
  • Timer and Auto-Redirect removed from game and adjusted box size, not blocking the battle area.
  • Mulligan and other actions should not be able to alter the position of opponents cards anymore.
  • trying again: prevent broken deck data. also deleted broken decks from the database
  • minor adjustments like: scroll-bars on Firefox, slightly bigger bottom-deck zone and effect text
