As agreed to during TPAC 2022, this is a call for consensus (CFC) to publish the Contact Picker API specification as a First Public Working Draft.

The CFC ends at midnight on Friday the 30th of September, 2022.

You can view the latest unofficial draft here:
https://github.com/w3c/contact-api

The abstract reads:

An API to give one-off access to a user’s contact information with full control over the shared data.

Please indicate your support for publishing the specification as a W3C First Public Working Draft using either the 👍 or 👎 (formal objection) reaction buttons of this issue. If you have a Formal Objection (i.e., you indicate 👎) to its publication, we kindly ask that you raise it before 30th of September, 2022.
