Is there any plan to offer a similar functionality for the tracing ecosystem?

Hello

That's definitely out of scope of this particular crate. Furthermore, I'm not entirely sure if there's some kind of natural equivalent in the Python world, so not sure how it would be mapped. If you'd want to only „bridge“ it into logging, then it kind of is supported already ‒ I think there's some kind of tracing->log (rust) bridge and that one can be chained with this bridge to send it to the Python logging.

It of course doesn't mean someone else can't come up with an idea how to do it and make a separate crate for that. I'm afraid I don't have the time right now, even if I had the idea, though.
