After resetting an Azure user's password, when trying to sign in at the XCreds Login Window the user is prompted to choose a new password and then the login window hangs for a few moments and then resets to the beginning and asks for initial sign in. This appears to be a fail on syncing the local password to the new password. All future XCreds Login Window attempts will hang similarly and prevent login.
Workaround is to switch the login window, sign in, then change the user's local password in macOS settings to match the new cloud password. After that the user can sign in at the regular cloud sign in window normally.
