Pak Requests - Atari 2600 and FFPlay #11
Comments
So it does look like 2600 isn't going to work at this time. Tried adding it from the most recent release of Onion and it errors out due to not supporting a specific pixel/color format. That being said, 7200 works fine, so I should be able to add it to the next release. Haven't tried FFPlay yet, but I can soon. |
Awesome, I was actually experimenting with it since the instructions on how to make a PAK seemed pretty straightforward, I was getting the same 2600 log error about the pixel color format, which made me think I was doing something wrong. Glad you could verify that it wasn't just me screwing up! Thanks! |
Could you please try to get it working? I would absolutely love to play the 2600 classics on MiniUI, maybe shauninman would be willing to support the required pixel/color format for it to work? |
Hi! Thanks so much for providing extensions to MiniUI!
Would it be possible to get a port over of the Atari 2600 (and maybe the 7800) cores from RetroArch on Onion?
Also it would be amazing to watch old episodes of The Adventures of Pete and Pete on this tiny screen, haha. There is a video player that runs on the Miyoo hardware floating around, but I tried getting it to run in Mini UI with no luck, I'm clueless about scripting. Here is a link to the project I found: https://github.com/jimgraygit/Onion/issues/165#issuecomment-1113419668
Thanks again!
