OpenCore has been updated past the 0.6.3 release and now supports booting both Catalina and Big Sur Final.

Diff in changes of config.plist since v9. If you're updating from a previous OpenCore and want to keep your original config.plist, be sure to at least enable the ForceSecureBootScheme setting.

OpenCore has been updated to the 0.6.2 release and should now support booting both Catalina and Big Sur.

Diff in changes of config.plist since v5

I'm hoping that this release will finally solve the "prohibited" sign appearing when booting the macOS Catalina installer. The only change in this release compared to v8 is a fix to the VBoxHfs.efi driver.

If you still encounter a "prohibited" sign on booting macOS Catalina with this release, use the older v5 release instead. If that fixes it please let me know in issue #2 . If you are able to successfully boot Catalina with this v9 release (as I am) please let me know there too!

Updated OpenCore and all libraries to latest master. OpenCore has been updated beyond 0.5.9 and now supports booting from NVMe or virtio-blk drives ("ScanPolicy" value from old config.plist needs to be updated to take advantage of this).

Updated OpenCore to latest upstream version to fix a hang before the OpenCore menu appeared, which was triggered by cpu=host on QEMU 5 / Proxmox 6.2.

Note that some field names in your existing config.plist need to be manually updated if you're upgrading to this version and want to keep your current config.plist.

Disabled Timeout by default because it causes the installer to re-enter itself, which is super annoying if you don't catch it in time.

This version updates OpenCore to 0.5.8 to enable support for Timeout on the graphical boot screen (current boot option is automatically booted after a delay of 5 seconds)
