Strange we'd have something technically working for years, even demoed directly at MIT, and yet we still don't quite have something easily added to scratch.
Good news! It appears they've created anew site to manage experimental hardware interaction extensions called ScratchX
To get added to this list, we need to email and provide proof that our code is good. I'm taking a wild guess that if it's not good enough yet, it's certainly not far off. I'm making sure there are no regressions in the performance branch, and once that gets in we should have everything we need assuming our blocks are good.
