Mouse wheel rolls slowly when marking a text and placing the mouse at the buttom of screen in Ubuntu #23521

So Im unsure if this is a bug for me or others as well, but when i mark anything and place my mouse at the buttom of the screen i except the speed to be a bit fast, 100+ lines per second, but i only get 5-10 lines. Its really slow.

  • Spyder version: 6.0.3 (conda)
  • Python version: 3.12.5 64-bit
  • Qt version: 5.15.8
  • PyQt5 version: 5.15.9
  • Operating System: Linux-6.8.0-1017-raspi-aarch64-with-glibc2.39

Hey @Chuck321123, thanks for reporting. Please post a video or animated gif of the behavior you're seeing so we can better understand your problem.

ok, thanks for the video! I'm not seeing that in my Kubuntu installation.

Are you using a Wayland or Xorg session?

@ccordoba12 Thats weird. Im using a xorg (x11) session over NoMachine
