Spyder Dark - background color is does not change. It is still white. I have restarted Spyder but still the same issue. #2107

This is a known error. I think you need to close Spyder and open it again for the changes to take effect correctly.

We hope this will be fixed after we start to use PyQt5. For now there's nothing we can about it.
