Issue JP-2057 was created on JIRA by Howard Bushouse:

The initial version of the new wfss_contam step disperses flux calibrated pixel values from a direct image into simulated spectra. The resulting dispersed pixel values need to have the instrumental sensitivity properly factored in, so that they match the SED of the observed spectra.

Retrieval and application of flux calibration info has been implemented in the latest code updates contained in #5508
