Can use photon with 16 bit grayscale images? #155

I want to use photon rs for Medical image processing. But all the images that I am working with are in 16 bits.

So I was wondering if can I use photon with 16-bit images. I have gone through documentation, there is no reference given for 16-bit grayscale images.
