Bug Description

With Google, you can text on your computer with "Messages for web".

Please produce this function for Signal Desktop.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Install Signal app on Android phone.
  2. Install Signal Desktop on Linux desktop.
  3. Try sending an SMS text using Signal Desktop

Actual Result:

The function is not available.

Expected Result:

An SMS text can be sent the way it is done now with the app.

  1. Click on the send button.
    Two options are provided: "Insecure SMS" and Signal.
  2. Select "Insecure SMS".
  3. Send the message.
