Seeking GHelper settings to get the most out of gaming - G14 #3775

@NateTheGreat41 hello, CPU is designed to run up to 96C, and as soon as it hits high temps it automatically drops it's power on hardware level. This is normal. For the settings, I would generally advice to stick to default profiles (they are baked into firmware by manufacturer for your specific model). If you want to tackle CPU temps a bit in games - you can restrict CPU power to something like 30-40W by applying custom power limit under And on a side note, since you play on external monitor, it already uses dGPU all the time. There is no need to set Ultimate mode, you can just use Standard. Ultimate mode would link internal display to dGPU (that you don't need). |

Here are my specs
ASUS - ROG Zephyrus G14 14” 165Hz Gaming Laptop QHD- AMD Ryzen 9 with 16GB Memory-NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060-512GB SSD - Moonlight White
I am using AW2724 external monitor on the right side C port via Displayport
I use ultimate and turbo settings in GHelper, I have not touched anything else.
I do a lot of gaming daily and currently I am getting CPU temps up to 95 and GPU temps up to 85. Are these temps safe/optimal?
In game I am using DLSS performance settings, low(but not lowest) graphics settings, and have frame rate set to 165, although it fluctuates 140-165(would love to fix this somehow as well). I don't use HDR, it can cause latency and affect performance, is this correct?
If anyone with knowledge on my system know what I can tweak in my GHelper settings, it would be much appreciated. More specifically the GPU overclock settings, possibly even the CPU undervolt settings, whatever can help me get the most out of gaming while handling temps well. Custom fan curves I don't see making much difference if I'm wrong let me know. Yes I know the risks in some of these settings hence why I'm seeking advice here, thank you so much.
