Sleep animation for Keyboard backlights issue

I dont really use the sleep option that much on my Asus TUF but im pretty sure that it just stopped working since i got g helper while other animations are just working fine. The sleep animation option is also enabled under extra settings. Any ideas?

@viper-client hello, are you sure that your device actually sleeps then? Cause sleep animation is turned on automatically by firmware :) It has only an ON / OFF toggle (under Extra settings) and this toggle is absolutely same for all models.

@seerge i dont get the "slowly blinking". It just blinks as most of tuf laptops blink, normal sleep blinks tbh. Ill try with the power button and timeout as well. Thanks :) although im still curious to find a way to firmware settings and maybe a way to directly change backlights animations? Maybe ghelper thinks its on but its not...

@viper-client one more thought -- do you have backlight timeout set under Extra ? try to turn it off (set to 0)

@seerge didn't work. I guess i have to live with it :) thanks for the time you spent to help me. One last question, could it be modern standby causing the system think its not in sleep state to animation wont work?

@viper-client it could, so device just don't enter into a "hardware" sleep properly. For a sanity check - can you turn backlight ON, make sure that sleep is also checked in Extra and then just quit G-Helper and see if it makes any difference ?

Btw, if you really want to figure it out - I think Asus AC download page still downloads 5.x (just don't update when it prompts). And check if by some magic it changes something. But I honestly really doubt :) Cause whole sleep / boot / shutdown states are just one single command and it's same for all models (as i mentioned before here)
