Blender 2.93 is in early development and is set to release on May 26, 2021. At the time of this writing, we have not extensively tested Blender 2.93 and would consider this version not yet officially supported with the FLIP Fluids addon.

Official support will be added at a later date. Typically, the compatibility changes between Blender 2.9x versions are very small - if there even are any changes needed.

This issue thread will be used to track issues related to the FLIP Fluids addon and Blender Version 2.93.

Update: there are currently no known FLIP Fluids v1.0.9a compatibility issues with the current Blender 2.93 Alpha build (March 11, 2021 - 85623f6a5590).

Hi, thanks for letting us know! Is this crash happening during simulation baking, or rendering, or in another situation? Would you be able to attach a .blend file (.zip files can be attached here) or send one to [email protected] that reproduces the issue? This would help us look for problems.

Seems to happen just as the project starts to bake. Project sent to [email protected]

Thanks for the update! It looks like the issue is that the simulator is currently not supported on the MacOS ARM 64-bit build for Blender 2.93. We will need to port the simulator for the ARM processor. Since this is a large issue, I have created a separate thread for this issue here: #537

Blender 2.93 has now been released and is now officially supported with the FLIP Fluids addon version 1.0.9b or later.
