How long does it take to rebuild phone contact index?

We have 19k contacts in the portal, 17k with Phone Number. Installed extension and connected to HubSpot ~ 30 min ago, also made sure to turn off block 3rd party cookies in chrome settings, still observing the R with refresh sign in bottom left hand corner indicating it is still building the phone contact index. I tried a test call and it did not successfully log to the HubSpot Contact record, how long do I have to wait for the index to be completed? Also, does my internet connection affect the speed of this index? My connection is very slow right now, do I need to be currently logged in and watching this happen for it to complete? Or is it something that can run in the background independent of my machine?

That would take a long time, like hours, maybe a day, because redtail do not have API for the extension to fetch contacts, so have to fetch contact data from every single contact's page.

If the sync not finished and session expired, no worries, sync will start from last page when reload.
