Run two examples of the code in two windows
With two different formats
Including 24 bit
Sleep the machine for as little time as possible
Sleep the machine for several minutes
Look for too-short files, check that the formats are correct

If we have device retry working, then also try removing and replacing a device.

Record the command lines here for future testing!
