In the web ui, starting a scan during a global blackout prompts you to verify you really want to run the scan. Is there a way for force a scan during a global blackout with the nexpose gem?

I want to say that if the scan is launched by a Global Admin user via the gem then it will bypass the blackout. My memory is a bit fuzzy on that, though, so I'll have to look some more (or try it).

@twosevenzero if you have time, this PR#297 and the branch bypass_blackout_start_scan should allow you to do what you're asking.

We'll be doing a new release (probably 7.1.0) sometime this week, which should contain this update. In the meantime, feel free to checkout that PR/Branch and bypass your blackouts at will.

Let us know if get a chance to check it out, otherwise you'll see it in our next minor version bump of the gem. Thanks again!

This is great news. Once I get power back from Irma, I'll give it a shot. Lol. Thanks.
