Force Scan and Bypass Global Blackout #296
Comments
I want to say that if the scan is launched by a Global Admin user via the gem then it will bypass the blackout. My memory is a bit fuzzy on that, though, so I'll have to look some more (or try it). |
@twosevenzero if you have time, this PR#297 and the branch We'll be doing a new release (probably Let us know if get a chance to check it out, otherwise you'll see it in our next minor version bump of the gem. Thanks again! |
This is great news. Once I get power back from Irma, I'll give it a shot. Lol. Thanks. |
@twosevenzero Well at least now you have this to look forward to?.......... But seriously, good luck next (few) week(s). |
@twosevenzero This is in master now, and i'll be released either today or tomorrow. |
In the web ui, starting a scan during a global blackout prompts you to verify you really want to run the scan. Is there a way for force a scan during a global blackout with the nexpose gem?
