This line of code was confusing

raiden-libs/raiden_libs/utils/merkle.py

Line 44 in 3f2e234

paired_items = zip_longest(iterator, iterator)

In the main raiden repo it has been refactored recently raiden-network/raiden#1376. This change should be ported in this repo.
