Using with Valet/Herd locks up the connection

When I'm running wave locally, all calls to the /wave endpoint never complete, and after that no local sites work (I serve via Herd, though same thing happens with Valet). It seems like the call to /wave never complete then also never releases connection/.sock file or something?

I'd love to understand why it happening of if I'm doing something wrong, as I had to switch away from Wave in order to even develop locally.

I'm on macOS Sonoma, running the lates Herd or Valet (tried with both).

Any insight you might have would be greatly appreciated.

Please update Wave to the latest version and then flush the Redis database before testing.

If the issue persists, examine the Laravel log file and provide the information it contains.
Please specify the versions of PHP and Laravel you are using, and the operating system you are running on.

and then my nginx is all locked up.

It should work fine with the latest versions of Herd/Valet and Wave.
