How much communication is possible between webview's webpage and host environment (RN App)?

Sorry to bother you guys, my name is Kylan Hurt and I am currently in the process of looking for a good webview for an app that I am currently working on, and I had some questions about "react-native-inappbrowser's" capabilities and would love your input.

Specifically, I am wondering if there is any capability on iOS for the page loaded by the webview to communicate with the host environment. From the documentation it appears that only basic communication regarding an auth token can be communicated from the website in the webview to the host environment, is this correct?

I'd love a chance to have a brief chat with you because I am still relatively new to how webviews work.
