When using forwardObjectEvents, the scrolling doesn't not work correctly.
Please look at the attached repro:
https://stackblitz.com/edit/vitejs-vite-cbtx2a?file=src%2FPortal.tsx

If you try to scroll the content inside box, it disappears, and in console you can see that the scroll position is set to NaN.
