My situation is that I have normal 3D scatter traces and mesh 3D traces in the same plot, and am able to disable/enable the 3D scatter traces (by clicking on the trace name), but the mesh 3D traces never show up. I was wondering if there were any plans to include at least the trace names (and thus togleability) of mesh 3D to already existing legends in the near future.
Thanks!

Hey Plotly team!
I've seen in a couple of threads that you guys have mentioned that mesh3d currently does not have legend support (https://community.plot.ly/t/mesh3d-plots-no-legend-or-colors/244) (https://community.plot.ly/t/how-to-name-axis-and-show-legend-in-mesh3d-and-surface-3d-plots/1819). I take it there has been little progress on that. From what I can gather, the showing of the trace name in the legend is directly tied to this feature, no?
