(just) importing plotly.express breaks kaleido (on some machines)

i discovered this while using fig = px.choropleth(...), fig.write_image(...), which used to work fine and then broke on a machine. i switched to go.Choropleth where the write_image works, but if i import plotly.express without even using it, kaleido breaks again with same error message. on another machine, plotly.express does not break kaleido. but i cannot tell what the kaleido subprocess is depending on.

Hi @gvwilson, we are currently in the process of adding a feature that builds a PDF using fpdf2. This PDF needs to include some charts using plotly. "Unfortunately" (in this case), we are using a Python container image based on Alpine. Do you have any update regarding the update? I am assuming that the recent opened PRs are related to this update?
