@polyester started to work on a swagger spec for plone.restapi in Barcelona. Though, back then Swagger did not provide a way to define arbitrary routes. With the new swagger version, we might want to have a second look at that...

Swagger does not support the content type and interface concepts. This makes defining the custom endpoints in practice impossible.
