Hi, whatsapp suspend my two numbers using whatsapp-web.js, anyone with same issue? Works fine for months until yesterday

Expected behavior

Not getting suspended

The same thing happened to me. In the last few days, a warning appeared in the app on my phone. I can't remember exactly what it said, but something like, "Switch to WhatsApp. You are using an unofficial app that may be insecure. Support for the unofficial client will end soon". Today I was logged out of the app on my phone and all connected devices.

I was able to log in with my phone number just fine and my chats etc. are still as before. However, I do not really want to try logging in with the VPS that was previously running my automation script.

yess confirm, whatsapp ban my account instantly today,

using another computer from another branch of our company (new IP, new Device, new mobile phone number). whatsapp still banned instantly.

Apparently there are new recent detection measures.

Isn't it better to leave 1 issue regarding this lib being detected open so we can investigate more on ban prevention measures? If they have new ways of detecting this lib specifically we need to update the library to mask it as well as possible as being a normal user.

I just wanted to report that I backported your changes to last released version on npm but get the warings afterwards. I hope version 1.23.1 will fix it ...
