I keep getting this warning/error message.

this might be related to the URL persisting in your dask-labextension. see dask/dask-labextension#152, in particular you can try visiting the equivalent URL for your username https://aws-uswest2.pangeo.io/user/scottyhq/lab?reset

in any case we have dask-labextension pinned to 3.0 until dask/dask-labextension#167 gets merged...
