Automatic updates

Hi! I've following the project for some time and I think you are doing a great job! And I also have a question do you have (or plan to, or can be achieved, somehow) automatic updates?

I know other immutable distros have updates on the background, since they require you to restart for a new transaction to be available, however, since here the updates are applied on runtime, this could pose problemas with running programs, any idea, is this something that has been thought of, or is just something that will be accepted and the average user is expected to be somewhat knowledgeable and be ready for this themselves?

Once the project is further advanced, I'm sure the concept of how to enable Automatic updates (and by which mechanism) will receive some attention.

For now, there are so many thing to address on the tooling side that we can't promise anything concrete in this regard.
