Turns out it was just a mistake at the application-level - sorry for the confusion!

Oh wow I think that #5864 might actually be pretty spot-on to what I'm experiencing (down to the platform, subsystem, and specific cod).

I can't comment for sure though because it is unclear from the mentioned issues what exactly is going on, on the user-end.
