Hello, can I be a guest at the 5/16 meeting? I am a student learning Node.js in classes, and I would also like to begin contributing on the open source side, if possible. The community committee sounds like an interesting place to start, and I would like to learn more. Thanks in advance.

Of course! We’ll be happy to have you – more the merrier 👍

I’d also recommend that you check out the committee’s current initiatives and attend their specific meetings – thats where much of the actual work gets done 🙂The Community Committee meeting itself is where the core administrative group that helps facilitate our assorted community-focused efforts meets to ensure everything is running smoothly.

@Tera99 to add to what was mentioned during the call, if you're looking for context on getting started contributing to open source, I'm happy to connect. I run a meetup that's focused on exactly that and I appreciate opportunities to see if we're missing anything in our curriculum ✨

@Bamieh next one is canceled due to Collab Summit. Maybe we'll meet in person. 🎉
