What

We need to improve our guidance around how to use Github and why it is important.

Why

Some users don't feel confident using Github as a way to save and share their work with others. There are indicators from user research that this is a mix of confidence and knowledge.

Done when

  • We've explored the type of users that we have and where people might sit on a scale (beginner to expert)
  • We've explored the involvement journey that Github requires
  • We've explored the reasons that people don't feel confident
  • New guidance around using github (and it's benefits) is proposed
