What

We need to help users be more confident with customisation of their prototypes, even though we have guidance on where to do it and understand why this might be a problem.

Why

Previous user research has suggested that some users aren't confident customising their prototypes because they feel they lack HTML, CSS and JS knowledge in and outside of the prototype kit ecosystem.

Done when

  • We've reviewed our current guidance and made a Mural
  • Review how GOV are teaching people things
  • Collate how people have tried to teach / learn HTML/CSS/JS in the past
  • Review feedback from code clubs
  • Create a survey about what people don't feel confident with and might want to learn and post to Slack
