Prototype kit: Aligning with other design systems

What

We need to stay aligned with other design systems that are near to us in the wider ecosystem, like Gov.uk and other Gov departments.

Why

Our design system is similar in many ways to Gov.uk and we share many user needs. People felt that our systems can help each other more often.

Done when

• Look at how other design systems communicate their work and look for opportunities to connect
• Review our own comms channels / process and how we might use these to better communicate updates
• Propose ways to standardise and improve lines of communication
