I just tried to connect a fresh install of nextcloud up to a database server that is set up to replicate and it gave me this error:
An exception occurred while executing 'INSERT INTO `oc_users` ( `uid`, `password` ) VALUES( ?, ? )' with params ["admin", "secretpasswordhash"]:
SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 1665 Cannot execute statement: impossible to write to binary log since BINLOG_FORMAT = STATEMENT and at least one table uses a storage engine limited to row-based logging. InnoDB is limited to row-logging when transaction isolation level is READ COMMITTED or READ UNCOMMITTED.
From what I have read back in 2015 the "solution" was to set binlog_format = mixed but I cannot do this because I am replicating databases from this server to slaves for automated backups. Is this issue still not fixed? Is it somehow at the core of how nextcloud/owncloud work?
Thanks
