Bug description

Nextcloud desktop appears in dark mode although gnome system is set to light.

Steps to reproduce

install latest manjaro gnome
install nextcloud-desktop 3.15

Expected behavior

nextcloud should be light default

Which files are affected by this bug

nextcloud.cfg

Operating system

Linux

Which version of the operating system you are running.

manjaro

Package

Distro package manager

Nextcloud Server version

25.0.13

Nextcloud Desktop Client version

3.15

Is this bug present after an update or on a fresh install?

Updated from a minor version (ex. 3.4.2 to 3.4.4)

Are you using the Nextcloud Server Encryption module?

Encryption is Enabled

Are you using an external user-backend?

  • Default internal user-backend
  • LDAP/ Active Directory
  • SSO - SAML
  • Other

We have recently bug fixed issues with dark/light theming. Exactly what version you are running, 3.15.3?
