If would be great to make the Nextcloud client able to use a users integrated Windows credentials to authenticate against Nextcloud server. As in a company most users are using Active Directory to authenticate, it would be great to use this tokens to authenticate against the Nextcloud Server. In combination with adding some command line configuration options, this could enable admins to roll out and set up the client on a client machine without having the user to set up his/her account manually.

We have a password policy of 30 days. Users are getting fed up having to change their password and then have to change nextcloud client.

Another feature request that I would support.

As a workaround there should be fully automated workflow thats request username+PW, adds a token, does a login for that user with username+token and finally stores this credentials for further login.

Currently the deployment of nextcloud in AD enviornment is just too complicated.

+1 for this. Is there any plan for SSO-implementation?
