LMMS Unresponsive When Selecting a Preset

When selecting any preset, using either the arrows or the browse option, LMMS becomes unresponsive.

I was using Windows 8.1 64-bit and LMMS version 1.1.3. I used VeSTige to open Helm.

@BiRD4 Can you test your LMMS bugs against our latest lmms-1.2.0 release candidate? Some of them are probably on our side. ( I think you need to first uninstall 1.1.3, I'm not on Windows. )

This specific issue is also reported here and also considers other vst instruments so it's most likely an lmms bug.

LMMS becomes unresponsive when a preset is chosen using the arrow keys in the VeSTige window or in the Helm window, in both 1.1.3 and 1.2.0.

Hmmmm. I'm having trouble actually debugging this.
For some reason lmms doesn't load the helm debug symbols so I can't get Visual Studio to hit breakpoints and whatever.

But I can see where it's hanging and it's not in helm. So I'm going to say it's probably an LMMS bug but I can't say for sure without getting the debugging working.

LMMS 1.2.0 RC 5 works, this seems to be a bug with LMMS not Helm.
