- Restart discussions where we left off on dynamic process sets and RT/app interaction use cases. Track down location of working documents.
- MPI 4.1 dynamic chapter items and what to present at the next voting meeting. Note Howard will be on vacation that week.
Catching up on the notes from the miro diagram. Martin Schulz and Dan Holmes put the current notes together when they met several weeks ago. Key insight - when changes in resources (via request or RM forcing it) take place. They pieced togethr ideas for how to handle this. Need a new session to get updated resources (namely psets). Within a session you are stable, but for dynamic situation need to init a new session. A way to quickly determine changes between previous session/pset list and new session/pset list. We still want the version concept. This idea (having to get a new session handle) is to work around the static nature of the process list. Martin Schreiber expresses some doubts about this - should we just drop this somewhat static, but potentially growing, but no shrinking process set list notion we have in the MPI 4.0 standard.
Briefly discuss MPI 4.1 items. Dan will review Howard's open PRs and flag ones we need to announce for the September meeting
