How to Filter Obs6 Output to a Single Stress Period?

Hi,
I'm working with FloPy and have a question about the observation output. I have 2 stress periods in my MODFLOW6 model, but my Obs6 package is set up to calibrate heads only against observed data from the first stress period. However, when I look at the output, the 'time' column includes results for both stress periods. Is this an expected behaviour? Shouldn't the output only reflect the stress period I'm calibrating against, or is there a way to filter it to just the first stress period?
