compile problems on MacOS m1pro

I clone the repository with recursive.
And mkdir build -> cd build -> cmake ..

And the error happened seems file IlmThreadConfig is missing,I check .gitmodules file, and check the file on its github, it seems they do really don't have this file on this branch,but has it on its master branch. This problem confused me.
