I'm running Kubernetes for my home automation and thought it'd be great to have a docker image available for this.

Happy to contribute a GitHub actions build + Dockerfile in a PR if there is interest in doing this?

@mikestir what are your thoughts?

Sure if you like. This whole thing could do with a bit of TLC though.

I actually did a load more reverse engineering work a few years back which I never got around to writing up. I've got another server that can talk directly to a Texecom panel using the Wintex protocol, which I clean-room reverse engineered. With this you can implement stuff like a fully functional remote keypad via MQTT, and you can get a real-time live stream of all the zone statuses. I was already looking at using Docker for that, if I ever find the time to get back to it.

This sounds well and truly in line with what I need, so if there is anything I can contribute to make the Wintex thing a reality, I would be keen to collaborate.
