My computer turns my display off after 15m of inactivity,

After start using my computer again, vscode starts to display some weird pixels over file tree and terminal(maybe because they do more heavy work?)

I also happens sometimes on my google chrome, so I believe its related.

Maybe related, but not same:
#37593

  • VSCode Version: 1.31.1
  • OS Version: Linux, Elementary OS

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. On a linux machine, let the computer turn the display off after a few minutes inactivity
  2. Wait something like 15m
  3. Interact to computer to exit the "safe mode"
  4. You shall see this on terminal & file tree:
