Testing #164522

renaming a header within a markdown file updates links in other files automatically without prompting the user.
Is this inconsistency intended?

That is by design since you have triggered a rename using F2. We assume using F2 means the user wants to update all places that header is referenced. If they don't want this, they can just type a new header name
