Same problem on Kubuntu 22.04.

I resolved by installing libssl1.1, I understand Ubuntu 22.04 uses libssl3 and you need version 1.1 for liveshare

wget http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/o/openssl/libssl1.1_1.1.0g-2ubuntu4_amd64.deb
sudo dpkg -i ./libssl1.1_1.1.0g-2ubuntu4_amd64.deb
rm -i libssl1.1_1.1.0g-2ubuntu4_amd64.deb

I've tried that, but issue still exists.
Have you uninstalled libssl3 for this ?
openssl version outputs OpenSSL 3.0.2 15 Mar 2022 (Library: OpenSSL 3.0.2 15 Mar 2022)

@FlyOverNight Did you take a look at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/visualstudio/liveshare/reference/linux#tips-by-distribution? It doesn't mention Kubuntu 22.04, but older Kubuntu versions require the installation of gnome-keyring and desktop-file-utils so I wouldn't be surprised if that's still the case with 22.04.

Just merged #4742, this will hopefully resolve the issue.
