✔️ Expected Behavior

Tray icon for the Awake power toy is visible in tray

❌ Actual Behavior

Tray icon is missing

Other Software

Tray icon doesn't appear on my Windows 11 machine, still is present on my Windows 10 machine. Other than that, not sure what specifically is different other than when I installed PowerToys and other update "complications" til now.

Win11: Installed PowerToys at version 0.49.1 (64-bit) from GitHub at around 2021-11-20 (according to the download timestamp). Clean install of Windows 11. No other issues.

PowerToysReport_2022-12-19-21-51-02-win11.zip

Win10: Clean reinstall of Windows 10 since around 2022-03-26 and whatever version of power toys at the time. Automatic updates randomly fail due to some unknown reason and have to manually install (unsure which version exactly was installed since last failure).

(tried to generate the debug report from the win10 machine for additional info but the zip file isn't being generated to desktop, maybe another bug? desktop folder is redirected to a different drive)

@JeffreyMercado have you enabled the tool through PowerToys settings?

I'm not sure what exactly happened, it's not happening anymore. My guess is that there was a pending restart and some things weren't loading in the tray. It's been a while since this occurred and I have since updated to later versions and it's loading fine now.

I'm not sure if this can be reproduced anymore, it was probably a conflict with the OS.

This is happening (or not happening?) to me.

I use my Windows 11 machine as a Roon core and use Awake with it. It was a nice convenience in the systray. Clearer wording to boot.
