Description of the new feature / enhancement

建议始终置顶功能像保持唤醒一样在通知栏有单独的图标,并且能实现点击该图标后再点击任意窗口即实现置顶操作。

Scenario when this would be used?

对于多屏用户,往往需要置顶多个窗口,现在的功能需要一个个打开,按复杂的快捷键,不太方便

Description of the new feature / enhancement
It is recommended that the always-on-top function has a separate icon in the notification bar like keeping awake, and it is possible to click the icon and then click any window to achieve the top operation.

Scenario when this would be used?
For multi-screen users, it is often necessary to put multiple windows on top, and the current functions need to be opened one by one, and it is not convenient to press complex shortcut keys.

I understand the ask but how is just clicking the window and a quick key shortcut as fast / faster? This feels like a ton of clicking.

I think we'd instead do more of the flyout idea, #6751

how is just ...faster?

For multi-screen users with many windows, some of them on top. Disable is more work if it is more than one pinned window.
I agree to add it to icon options of #6751 once it is implemented.
Till then, this is an independent feature, which can be referenced from the flyout.

@f-re, I understand the user case, as I too am a multi-screen user. I'm challenging the "faster" statement. It just is a lot of movement versus just clicking the window once and hitting the shortcut.

I personally would like AOT to be possible by mouse, perhaps clicking something such as a pin icon in the window title bar or perhaps added to the control menu (Alt+Space) of windows, if that's possible.

For me, the most ideal thing would be an extra button next to min/max/close in the title bar. But, I know that's difficult to impossible, so "can't have all"...

i guess the idea was to completely toggle AOT to switch all top-windows on/off at once - from the system tray. Of course it's faster with one central switch, even if this is on the other end of the most remote screen. At least if 3 or more windows are on top.

The additional📌 icon was fun back in windows xp tools, worked well with standard windows, but was a nightmare for custom windows like Realplayer (then), today Teams, Browsers, vscode etc.

I honestly didn't know the XP tools had a pin button, but these days it seems even more apps have custom-drawn title bars so that probably isn't happening. A right-click or control menu option, or perhaps extending that new hover fly-out when you point at the max/restore caption button would be possible
