hello,

We're on Mac OS using a Eyoyo barcode scanner on QRCode. We also asked Eyoyo support to dig into this.

Special characters are not read well :
= is read as -

  • is read as §

The first one is exacly the kind of behaviour if you use a US layout on a french physical keyboard, type = and you get -, that's why I was wondering if there's anything like this in the character encoding of bwip.

Thanks for your help
V.

bwip-js uses utf-8 character encoding unless the binary option is set. Please post the barcode image you are having issues with.
